Revanesse Versa Newport Beach
Smile and laugh lines meet their end when faced with the hydrophilic power of Revanesse Versa, a new synthetic dermal facial filler created by Canadian company Prollenium. Revanesse Versa works by temporarily restoring hyaluronic acid to the cell matrix of the face, creating plumper, fuller, and more youthful looking skin. This chemical naturally occurs everywhere in the skin and degrades and breaks down with age, and so a synthetic version of it is added back to draw water back to the areas where wrinkles have formed, erasing them. Revanesse Versa is designed to temporarily remove facial folds, wrinkles, creases, craters, lines and eye-hollows.
How Does Revanesse Versa Get Rid Of Wrinkles?
Revanesse works through the chemical action of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body responsible for drawing water to the skin and making it plump, bouncy, and youthful. When Revanesse is injected, it draws moisture to itself because hyaluronic acid is hydrophilic, meaning it loves water.
Drawing extra water to the areas where the product is injected increases the volume in those areas and smoothes out folds, wrinkles, and creases. Because hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body, it breaks down over time thanks to the body’s own metabolism, meaning all dermal filler injections like Revanesse are temporary, lasting between six months and a year depending on the strength of the individual patient’s metabolism.
What Are the Side Effects of Revanesse Versa?
Because hyaluronic acid is naturally occuring everywhere in the skin, there is almost never an adverse reaction to the injection or Revanesse. The injection area is sometimes red and tender, with occasional bruising, but results are immediate and side effects typically vanish within a week. Revanesse Versa is approved by the FDA and is considered a safe and effective solution to temporary restore youth to the face.
Is Revanesse Better Than Juvèderm?
Both Revanesse Versa and Juvèderm use a hyaluronic acid based filler to plump up the skin with extra moisture. The differences between them are typically seen in the total number of months they last, how quickly the plumping effects fade after the initial injection, and how the skin swells and reacts immediately after injection.
Revanesse dermal fillers are made up of round, almost perfectly spherical particles of hyaluronic acid that are typically smaller than those used in Juvéderm. Because they are smaller, patients often report less swelling from Revanesse injections. Additionally, Revanesse often lasts longer than other comparable facial fillers because of the very fine nature of the particles used.
What Is It Like To Get A Revanesse Injection?
After meeting with a doctor to discuss the patient’s goals, the procedure itself can take as little as fifteen minutes. The face is numbed and a number of small injections are distributed by a trained medical professional in the target areas. The face is then gently rubbed and massaged to spread out the filler, and once the last injection is completed, the patient is usually free and safe to drive home.
